Elvis didn't always receive the most supportive musical backing, but the musical fluff that sabotaged much of his work doesn't weigh down these tracks. His skill as a vocalist is in evidence on such tracks as "Silver Bells," "O Come All Ye Faithful," and "The First Noel." If you were to pick one Christmas Elvis release, this would be a wise choice.
