Beginning her singing career at the tender age of eight, Rhythm was first exposed to music by her father who sang lead with a male group called the Soul Phonics. With her mom, as her foundation, Rhythm set her goals on a music career. She began to expand her vocal abilities as well as add to her list of favorite singers by musical greats such as Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, and Sade.
