我在这里强烈推荐这张不可多得的独立专辑。确实很棒，刮目相看。来自新西兰的男女乐队，也是一对恋人。似乎情人之间的爱情有时候往往可以促成美妙的音乐，因为灵感总是那么轻易就会出现。乐队的第一次表演是在国外，紧接着变是在后来伦敦的巡演，之后又引起了著名独立厂牌Sub pop的注意，迅速被签约。并与旗下著名乐队The Shins同抬献演。这张专辑最大的特点也许就是动听的旋律，我并不是吹嘘，一切似乎都是安排的那么巧合，轻松缓和的吉他演奏，随意的键盘声，极其舒服的女声和男声。把这些综合因素简单融合起来，就变成了The Brunettes式的音乐。虽然女声占的比重很大，但是男声独唱的歌曲Credit Card Mail order丝毫也不逊色。不过乐队更乐意把自己风格归为Rock，也许是因为他们深受the Beatles的影响。反正又是一张解暑的专辑。(转载自Music In Style) G4SA u
