We Shot The Moon is a pop rock band based out of San Diego, California. They are the brainchild of Jonathan Jones, the former lead singer of the now defunct band Waking Ashland. When they called it quits in July of 2007, Jonathan kept writing in hopes of continuing his career in music, and thus We Shot The Moon was formed. .;S1HOHz4

In August of 2007 the band entered a studio in Orange County and began work on the bands debut EP titled ?he Polar Bear and Cougar? Jonathan enlisted the help of his friends Dan Koch and Joe Greenetz, who are both from the band Sherwood, to work on writing and recording the songs. The EP was co produced by Michael Rosas and Dan Koch. k2.k}?w!JO
